Cottonwood Creek is a brewery, smokehouse, and event space concept in Hutto, Texas. Caliber partnered with GoodFood’s marketing team to launch both the brewery and smokehouse as distinct yet interconnected experiences.
The Station and Brewery are uniquely branded to cater to separate markets. Their unity lies in a joint experience for customers tied together through a consistent brand voice that is casual, approachable, and playful. As dual brands, this flexible model allows both entities to shine together but grow independently.
Inspired by the local legend of the “Hippo loose in Hutto” from 1915, the brewery’s visual language features expressive mark-making, industrial railcar motifs, and bold typography. These design elements aim to evoke the vibrant spirit of Cottonwood Creek’s history while blending the laid-back charm of a community hangout. From glassware and tap handles to merchandise and environmental graphics, thoughtfully curated touchpoints position Cottonwood Creek Brewery as a destination for craft beer and a lively gathering place for the community.
Cottonwood Creek Station embraces the warmth and authenticity of a classic smokehouse, combined with the modernity of a versatile event space. Reflecting its farm-to-table approach, the Station showcases a rustic charm with approachable sophistication. Guests are invited to enjoy hearty meals, gather for events, and co-experience what defines Cottonwood Creek Brewery.
